The House of Dilip Kumar is located in Mohalla Khudadad, within the historic Qissa Khwani Bazaar of Peshawar.

It is the birthplace of the legendary Indian actor Yousaf Khan, popularly known as Dilip Kumar, who was born here on December 11, 1922.

He lived in this modest two-storey house for 12 years before moving to Mumbai, where he began his film career with Jwar Bhata in 1944.

The house was declared a protected monument on July 26, 2014, under the Antiquities Act of 1997, with plans to convert it into a museum.

Today, the house stands as a cultural landmark, commemorating the life and legacy of one of South Asia’s greatest film icons.
